SHU Shoe Donation Project

  • Pass-through is complete for donations
  • Two locations will be drop-offs: Vista Academy and Quail Run Elementary to be delivered to the Family Resource Center

Meals at Hope

  • Cindy will be attending a meeting later today
  • Marana Food Bank accepts anyone who comes to them…not really a “cut off” on who qualifies for food assistance
  • Plan to partner with Marana Food Bank for their Spring Food Drive

District Conference - September 18 & 19 - Tubac Convention Center

  • This year’s theme, “How Has Rotary Impacted You”
  • Cindy & Bob will be presenting!!

Happy Buck$:

Bob - Family Trip to the Outer Banks; will be heading back to Arizona, through Oklahoma, in time for the Rotary Conference

Peter: Just got back from a trip to New York; reflecting on the incredible power of our Earth - are there ways to help Nepal? Can we send a Shelter Box? Through the district maybe?

Cindy: Spent an absolutely beautiful weekend in Golden, Colorado for her grandson’s football game (close game 21 - 20)

John: Joined his lovely bride (probably drove) in picturesque Golden, Colorado…also saw the Red Rocks Amphitheater - wow! 

Bev: Excited to be subbing right here at Vista today; taught 3rd grade on Friday at Rattlesnake…just getting this school year started

Gregg: With the rains come great responsibilities…and turtles! Spent some time golfing in Pinetop

Mike: After 35 years, finally decided it was time to put in a new AC/mini-split for the bedroom - sleeping in cool comfort now! 

Harold -  leading a simple life, taking care of his sweet wife; always work to do on the computer! 

Mark: Spent time with family in Flagstaff, attended Farmer’s Markets, etc. Good times!
