The club voted to purchase $1,000 worth of equipment to help with clean-up efforts for the California fires.

Don Jorgensen provided an American flag as we began our meeting by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
President Andrea began the meeting by announcing a donation by our club of $1,000 will be made for the purchase of hand tools such as rakes and shovels as part of District 5500 CA fire assistance.
A semi to be loaded in Tucson by 2/4/2025 then traveling to Casa Grande and on to Yuma. Our Club will also make a $500 donation to Shelterbox who match it. Shelterbox has $100,000 matching grant for assistance with CA fire remediation. Additional information and Shelterbox website can be seen in this weeks Impact newsletter.
President Andrea announced our By-Laws have been amended with new membership categories for business, families and non-profit memberships and thanked Don Jorgensen for his assistance.
Treasurer Burtzloff announced we have taken in $15,500 thus far for Tour dev Cookie fundraiser.
Our 2/18/2025 meeting will be held at MCAT followed by assisting the Marana Food Bank.
Speaking our long time friend and member for many years, Denise Green, Principal of MCAT, has resigned and his moving to Washington where her husband has secured new employment. We all wish her well.

Kathy-Driveway Paved and dog hair from her new pet
Don-AZ Wildcats pulled off maybe the greatest victory in school history with a ¾ of the court shot as the clock expired to tie the game. The Wildcats went on to victory and Don was there, getting home around midnight due to the late start and overtime.
Bob-No longer needs glasses after cataract surgery. One eye sees distance and the other sees close! Very happy with the results. He returns to Tucson this week.
Mark: He told us about Denise's resignation, but I am sure he was not happy about that. Anyway, he was happy about something.
Christine-Certified Child Car Seat Tech! Actually quite complcated stuff as she explained to us.
Cindy-South Central Rotary Youth Exchange, SCRYE, conference was successful. Cindy planned the conference and happy all went well.
John-Happy his kids survived riding around in the back of a panel truck in the seventies and eighties with only a bambee couch to sit on. Cushions but no seatbelts. Also GO WILDCATS!
Andrea- A tad under the weather with a sore throat but hopefully turning the corner.
