Our First Rotary Club of Marana Texas Hold'em Poker tournament benefiting
our Rotary Foundation was a huge success!
I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in our First Rotary Club of Marana Texas Hold'em Poker tournament benefiting our Rotary Foundation. The event went as well I could have hoped, if you ignore the fact I was second out. Anyways, with your help, we raised over $3,100 for the work our Rotary club does in the local community and abroad. This is quite significant.
Please know that we will be hosting another tournament in the near future. I really think this could be something we do a few times a year.
Please email me any names of other possible participants as I wish to keep a database of people wanting to participate. Also, if you have any suggestions on how we could improve the event, let me know. This was the first time and obviously we can improve upon it.
